Searching for a Job? – Poetics of participation – presentation
On 27th of September 2022 Experimental Employment Office was invited to give a presentation for Minister of Science and Culture, Petri Honkonen. Juhani and Lauri talked about Searching for a Job? -project, poetics of participation and art of infrastructure. Event was organized by musician Minna Koskenlahti and took place at Center of Live Art (Eskus – Esitystaiteen keskus) in Helsinki.

Experimental Employment Office – workshop
In spring 2022 Experimental Employment Office was invited to host a one day workshop at a employment service pilot for highly educated immigrant women by Emplyment Espoo (Työllisyys Espoo), Culture Espoo (Kulttuuri Espoo) and Espoo City Theatre (Espoon kaupunginteatteri). New paths coming: we developed an experimental board game ”Game of (Work and) Life” for the workshop. The workshop took place on 27th of September.

Searching for a Job? – film screening
Searching for a Job? was invited to the third social film event Kettupäivät on 20th of November 2021. Event took place at Helsinki’s oldest movie theater, Cinema Orion. We presented Searching for a Job? documentary films and after the screening participated in a discussion with working life researcher Anu Suoranta.

Juhani and Lauri were invited to Rosebud Sivullinen bookshop for a discussion about the poetics, process and findings of their newly published Etsitkö töitä? (Seaching for a Job?) -book (Poesia 2021) during Helsinki Book Fair on 29th of October 2021.
Searching for a Job? – Exercises in Political Imagination – workshop
On 15th of September 2021 Juhani and Lauri (Experimental Employment Office) visited at the University of Turku to facilitate a one day workshop for Master’s students in sociology under the title ”Searching for a Job? – Exercises in Political Imagination” as part of the course: Communities and social change.
